Your booking history, wishlists, and profile data are stored securely and never sold to third parties for unrelated marketing.
We use your information to match you with experiences, process bookings, and send confirmations or important updates about trips you have booked.
Location data is used only when the app is active and you have granted permission—so we can show relevant nearby experiences—not for background tracking.
We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not load third-party advertising trackers on the traveller app.
By using Ask Yaya you agree to treat hosts and other travellers with respect, honor confirmed bookings, and follow any house rules stated on the experience listing.
Hosts are independent operators. Ask Yaya facilitates introductions and payments but is not liable for the conduct of individual hosts beyond our reasonable vetting and support processes.
You receive a full refund if you cancel more than 48 hours before the experience start time. Cancellations between 24 and 48 hours receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 24 hours of the start are non-refundable unless the host agrees otherwise.
Premium or private experiences may display custom cancellation terms on the listing—those terms apply in addition to this general policy when they are stricter.
For access, correction, export, or deletion requests under GDPR, email privacy@ask-yaya.com. We acknowledge requests within 72 hours and complete them within 30 days where technically feasible.
